The Engineering Advising Office supports undergraduate engineering students through their academic careers. We help with explaining degree requirements, adding minors or certificates, identifying resources, graduation, and more.

New students - you will meet with your advisor when you attend UNT's mandatory orientation.

Current students or returning students - you can schedule an appointment with your advisor to meet in-person or online. In-person drop-in advising is available during the 1st week of school in August and the 1st week of school in January from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Advisors cannot enroll students into courses. If you receive a “requisite not met” error when you attempt to enroll in a course, contact the Department that teaches the course for assistance. See below for how to submit a Course Override Request for many of the courses that engineering students take.
