Applications are invited from high school teachers who want to expand their teaching
through biomedical AI, digital health, and embedded systems. The program seeks teachers
with a STEM background and a strong interest in curriculum innovation, classroom implementation,
and helping students explore careers in healthcare technology and biomedical engineering.
Who Should Apply
- High school teachers with backgrounds in biology, computer science, engineering, health
sciences, or related STEM areas
- Teachers interested in integrating AI, biosensors, medical technologies, or data-driven
research into teaching
- Teachers are committed to developing classroom-ready materials and extending the impact
of the program to students
Program Commitments
- Full participation in the summer research experience
- Engagement in faculty-mentored lab activities and structured workshops
- Participation in curriculum development, reflection, and program evaluation activities
- Commitment to translating the experience into classroom implementation and resource
sharing
