Research

Processing of ultrahigh temperature ceramics (UHTCs) by hot pressing and pressureless sintering. Characterization and testing of UHTCs for applications that pertain to space, aerospace, and defense applications. Thin film deposition and surface engineering using sputtering, e-beam evaporation, atomic layer deposition, and electrodeposition.
