Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to transform the world, and UNT is proud to be one of the only public universities in Texas to offer a degree program in AI to address the exponential need of qualified experts.

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence can expect to learn how to design, build, and deploy AI-based software, models and systems. Designated as a STEM Program, the Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence will deep dive into training AI to understand how it works and functions on its own; while being managed to ensure they achieve their goals.

This 4-year curriculum, starting in July 2026, is designed to help students master the applications of AI development to assess its social and governing implications, as they relate to the present and the future.

AI is being integrated across different industries including but not limited to: healthcare, automotive, aerospace, cyber security, media & entertainment, finance, real estate and government agencies.

With an Artificial Intelligence bachelor’s degree, you can pursue careers including:
