CNC Precision Machining

Items needed for machining:

  • Choose or supply material
  • Desired delivery date
  • A 2D fully dimensioned (in inches) drawing
  • Include BOM (Bill of Materials)
  • A signed work request form.

  • Vertical Band Saw
  • Horizontal Band Saw
  • Bench Grinder
  • Belt Sander
  • Finger Brake
  • Sheet Metal Roller
  • Hydraulic Shear

Access to the mill and/or lathe will require additional training.

What to bring for the training:

  • Closed Toe Shoes
  • Pants
  • Shirt
  • Hair Tie (if needed)
  • Safety Glasses
  • UNT Student ID
