This fund was created in honor of Mr. Fritz Roberson's retirement from NTSU in 1984.
Mr. Roberson began his career at NTSU on August 1, 1948 as an instructor in the Industrial
Arts Department. After 21 years of teaching, he moved over to assist the Resident
Engineer and Director of the Pl,ysical Plant. For 14 years, Fritz had a vital hand
in evolving the campus pl,ysical facilities. His preciseness, professionalism and
artistry at the drawing board has given life to many of the buildings, alterations,
landscaping and various other improvements now enjoyed campus wide. Fritz is to be
admired not just for the excellent work produced over the years, but more importantly
for the strong sense of character and dedication he demonstrated toward the University.
His many talents, his outgoing personality and his ready smile is sorely missed by
his many friends at NTSU. We salute a truly fine gentleman.
