Be sure to check College of Engineering Undergraduate Advising page.
Important Note: Students have to take 6 electives (at least 18 SCH) from one of Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Computer Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Biology. Six electives constitute a minor.
Additional engineering minors may be pursued through selecting electives from the following disciplines.
Students must satisfy all prerequisite requirements to receive an override for their next-level Biomedical Engineering courses.
Students currently taking a prerequisite course are able to enroll in subsequent Biomedical Engineering courses.
A passing grade for a prerequisite should be posted on your student account.
If the grade is not posted on your account, an unofficial transcript must be submitted to the Biomedical Engineering administrators as proof of prerequisite completion before an override can be processed.
Course prerequisites are available in the UNT Catalog for your reference.
