Krishna Kavi has been on UNT faculty since 2001. He served as the Chair of CSE department
between 2001 and 2009. He was the Director of the NSF Industry/University Cooperative
Research Center for Net-centric and Cloud Software and Systems between 2009-2020.
Prior to joining UNT, he was an Eminent Scholar Chair Professor of Computer Engineering
at the University of Alabama, Huntsville, and served on the faculty at the University
of Texas at Arlington. He also served as a Program Director at the US National Science
Foundation during 1993-1995.
Research interests: Computer Architecture and Hardware Security. My dissertation research is on Study
and Mitigation Methods for Speculative Side Channel Attacks
