About the Workshop

The Challenge Workshop series started in Strasbourg France where the 1st Workshop took place in 2012, followed by the 2nd Workshop in Wuhan China in 2015 and the 3rd Workshop in Sao Carlos, Brazil in 2017. The 4th Workshop was initially planned to be held in 2020 but postponed due to the pandemic. The challenge workshop series provides a platform to discuss the forefronts, issues and challenges of atomistic simulations of inorganic glasses and amorphous materials, covering both fundamentals and applications. The 4th Challenge Workshop is co-organized by ICG TC27 and Alfred University and RPI as local host institutions.

Conference Venue and Transportation

The conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel Corning NY. Airport access can be through the Corning-Elmira Regional Airport (ELM), Rochester International Airport (ROC) or Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF).
