Currently, our group is working on topics such as feed material reconditioning for metal additive manufacturing, implementing novel design-based manufacturing strategies, and compositionally-structurally-functionally graded materials. We employ multiscale experimental and computational approaches to decode the process physics. Some research examples are provided below.
