ABSTRACT
Poly(acrylic acid) + metal oxide materials are made in aqueous solutions followed
by drying. They have glass transitions around 400 Celsius. As coatings they exhibit
high durability, low friction, and potential applications in several industries, marine
conditions, and medicine.
