Dr. Yan Wan receives NSF CAREER award for 2015

Dr. Yan Wan, an assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, has received a National Science Foundation (NSF) Early Career Development (CAREER) award for 2015. The NSF CAREER Award is the NSF’s most prestigious award for junior faculty members who demonstrate outstanding research, excellent education, and the integration of education and research within the context of the mission of their organizations.

UNTANGLED II: Unbound Online Gaming Competition

DENTON (UNT), Texas -- The public can compete for prizes in the latest version of an online gaming competition that's helping University of North Texas researchers improve the efficiency of the next generation of electronic gadgets, such as smartphones and medical devices. The competition for UNTANGLED II: Unbound runs Aug. 21 (Thursday) to Sept. 10, and 20 gift cards will be awarded to the overall best players. The game can be accessed at the Untangled website.
