IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu events announced

Two events sponsored by IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu, the Electrical Engineering student honor society, have been announced.

DFW teachers learning new skills in UNT summer research program

Budget cuts make it more difficult for teachers to bring innovation into their classrooms, but a group of North Texas educators have the opportunity to develop novel lesson plans based on research they are conducting at the University of North Texas this summer.

Grants awarded to Electrical Engineering faculty

Electrical Engineering faculty members have been awarded a number of new research grants.

Dr. Kamesh Namuduri and Dr. Yan Wan will be the principal investigators for five different grants.

Namuduri received a grant from NASA for a project titled "Guided Planetary Surface Exploration using Rovers and Wireless Sensor Networks." The award period is Dec. 1, 2009 to Dec. 31, 2010.
