UNT Regents Professor Miguel Acevedo was recently interviewed by KERA News about how he and his team are working to combat food insecurity by finding solutions for the high salt content in farm soil and irrigation water in the western U.S. The research, focused in parts of New Mexico and Colorado, is part of a $2.5 million NSF grant.
