Lindsey Smith not only graduated this Spring from UNT College of Engineering with a degree in Mechanical and Energy Engineering, but she also earned a second degree in math from Texas Woman's University thanks to the dual-degree program. A self-defined overachiever, Lindsey graduated high school at only 17. She didn’t want to complete a typical senior project, so instead she started UNT Team Rocket, which built a working rocket and recently competed in the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration student launch. During her time at UNT, she managed to complete three different internships and competed in the World Field Archery Competition for Team USA − placing 10th! Lindsey definitely makes us UNT proud.
