On Feb. 22, UNT College of Engineering STEM@thePark offers adults, middle, and high school students the opportunity to experience engineering at UNT. 

Event is free, thanks in part to the Texas Women's Foundation. Registration is required. 

Adult Event Schedule

Student at the UNT STEM @ the ParkOn Feb. 22, adults can learn how to develop an ANDROID app for parents, and educators to learn and share with other K-12 children. A parent of engineers and student panel will share strategies to informally impact girls through their own experiences. A tour of engineering and best options to career planning in engineering will also be presented.

  • 9-11 am: App development activity
  • 11 to 11:30: lunch break
  • 11:30 to 1:30: panel/group discussion on students and parents
  • 1:30 to 2:00 pm: Celebration send off

Register as an adult.

Student Event Schedule

Students will have an option to learn how to program an app in Android, robotics, gaming, structural design, and materials science.

  • 9-11 am: Activity #1
  • 11 to 11:30: Lunch break
  • 11:30 to 1:30: Activity #2
  • 1:30 to 2:00 pm: Celebration send off
