Dual Degree Program: MS in Engineering Systems (MSES) and MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management
The Department of Engineering Technology at the University of North Texas, in partnership with the College of Business, offers a dual degree program leading to both a Master of Science in Engineering Systems (MSES) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Operations and Supply Chain Management.
MSES candidates can choose a thesis plan or a non-thesis plan:
- The 30-semester-hour thesis option consists of six semester hours of thesis credit and 24 semester hours of graduate course work. View MSES thesis degree requirements in the UNT Catalog.
- The 33-semester-hour non-thesis options consist of three semester hours of project-in-lieu-of-thesis and 30 semester hours of graduate course work. View MSES non-thesis degree requirements in the UNT Catalog.

Each student's program is planned under the direction of a chosen major professor prior to completion of the first semester of graduate study. The student will be admitted to candidacy when the degree plan is approved by the graduate dean.
