UNT MTSE participates in 2016 Homecoming

This year, over 15 materials science and engineering undergraduates combined together to serve under the UNT Homecoming Service events. Students from UNT's Materials Advantage, Society for the Advancement of Materials Processing and Engineering, Society of Plastic Engineers, and Society of Women Engineers united to contribute in a food drive, blood drive, and food-packaging event that positively affected the UNT and Denton community.

Students (from left to right): Alyssa Thurston, Kayode Oluwabunmi, Caitlin Huntley, Haley Barnes, Tyler Torgerson, and Hunter Oltman were some of the volunteers who helped package over 20,000 meals in two hours  for charity Stop Hunger Now during Homecoming Week.
