PhD Graduate named in 2nd Annual Golden Eagle Class
Congratulations to Ph.D. graduate Aditya Ayyagari for being named in the 2nd Annual Class of Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagle Award is the most prestigious award that UNT bestows on a student leader. Awardees are leaders in campus life, student organizations, athletics, research, activism, mentorship, etc. and have made a positive and meaningful impact on the UNT community.
In addition to the Golden Eagle Award, Ayyagari was awarded the 2017 UNT Academic Achievement Award and Graduate Student Officer Eagle Award!
These recognitions are reflective on the Aditya’s outstanding academic excellence, graduate research accomplishments and leadership in the graduate student community. Aditya recently defended on his thesis on "Surface Degradation Behavior of Metallic Glasses and High Entropy Alloys" and is the Founder and President of the Materials Science and Engineering Graduate Student Council.
