For many years, the key physical, chemical and mechanical properties of polymers have been widely investigated. However, due to the complexity of the detail mechanism of mechanical properties of various polymers, in-depth researches based on the structure-property-process relationship in this area are still required. In this seminar, a brief overview of industrial standards for evaluating the durability of polymer pipes and non-conventional fracture mechanics approaches for the analyzing the long-term lifetime of polymer pipes.
