In addition to the university admission requirements, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements for admission to the College of Engineering:

Freshman Applicants

Freshman applicants should have a math SAT score of 540 or higher or a math ACT score of 22 or higher.

Transfer Applicants

Transfer applicants should be eligible to enroll in Math 1710 (Calculus I) at UNT or in a higher level math class.

For applicants who do not meet the above requirements, admission will be granted to a pre-engineering program in the College of Arts and Sciences. The applicant will be eligible to be admitted to the College of Engineering after completing Math 1650 (Pre-Calculus) with a grade of C or better.
